Seductive and Destructive

In these works Simpson creates tabletop landscapes inhabited by plastic fauna to depict scenes of love, war, desire and destruction. In combination with ideas of waste and excess associated with Dutch Still-Life, Simpson illustrates the effects of consumer driven desire on the natural world.
